# What is a League?
A league is a confined space within the portal where the only ones who can dictate the rules are its owners.
Anyone can become a league owner, although leagues inactive for 1 year will be automatically deleted.
A league is where the entire managerial world comes to life. Every league will have its users, its teams, its tournaments, and everything that follows.
In every league, there are 3 types of users:
- Owner, who created the league
- Admin, who has the power to administer the league's various configurable aspects
- User, who participates in it
A user can participate in any number of leagues, and can be an admin of just as many leagues. However, they can only be an owner of one league!
# Creating a League
Creating a league is simple. From the league selection screen, you can create your personalized league, provided you are not already the owner of one!
# Basic Settings
During the creation phase, you must choose a name for your league, a type, and the video game.
The possible types are the following:
- Managerial, which includes transfer markets, auctions, and tournaments,
- Video Game Competition, where it is possible to manage an ad hoc competition with teams created by the admins,
- Real Competition, where it is possible to manage "real" tournaments, where the players are real people, perhaps those from Sunday soccer (with this type, it is not necessary to choose the video game)
# Configuration
After the first step, you can choose the league's Configuration.
Here you have the possibility to define the basic characteristics of the league.
Caution
These settings CANNOT be modified later!
Among the various configurations, there is the possibility to choose whether to include Youth Squads, COOP teams, contracts, settlements, etc. Every available configuration is described to help new managers with their choice.
# Joining a League
It is also possible to join an existing league if you want to participate as a user.
To do this, simply select the desired league on the League Selection page and, once inside, request access from the admins.
They will be able to accept and/or reject the request.
