# Salary Definition
Each player, based on age, position, and overall rating, has a defined salary.
The sum of the players' salaries in a team defines the balance that the team must sustain at the end of the season.
Admins can define ranges of overall rating and age to define salaries.
For example, they can decide that players:
- with an overall rating from 80 to 82 have a salary equal to .
- with an age between 22 and 25 have a multiplicative factor of .
- with a midfielder role have a multiplicative factor of .
For this example, the player will have a salary equal to:
# Salary Update
A player with an active contract will not have their salary updated until the end of the contract. In case of renewal or transfer, the player's salary will be updated based on the previous formula, taking into account the parameters at the time of renewal.
Team salaries are recorded at the end of each transfer market phase to keep track of any roster changes.
