# Tournament Configurations
When creating a tournament, you can choose from various configurations.
# Name & Logo
It is possible to create a tournament with custom names and logos (both the emblem and the trophy) or choose to base it on a real tournament. In this case, you can choose from the various real tournaments available to inherit the name, logo, and trophy.
# Tournament Type
You can choose from the three available tournament types:
- League
- Knockout Tournament (Single-Elimination)
- Group Stage + Knockout Tournament
# Team Type
You can choose from the available team types based on the league's configuration. By default, you can create a tournament for:
- Major Squads
- Youth Squads
- COOP Teams
- 11v11 Teams
# Available Youth Players
If the tournament is for Major Squads, it will be possible to decide whether to also allow Youth Squad players to be fielded.
# Tournament Level
There are 3 available levels.
- Level 1: is the high level, to be considered like Serie A/Champions League
- Level 2: is the intermediate level, to be considered like Serie B/Europa League
- Level 3: is the low level, to be considered as friendly competitions.
Caution
For the assignment of the Ballon d'Or, and for general stats, only matches belonging to Level 1 and Level 2 tournaments will be counted.
Caution
For each season, only 1 tournament can be created with the same level and same team type. There is no limit to the creation of Level 3 tournaments.
# Ranking Criteria
It is possible to define the criteria for determining the ranking order in situations of equal points between 1 or more teams.
The ordering criteria, rankable from highest to lowest (where the highest will be considered first to rank the two teams), are:
- Points in direct matches in the tournament
- Goal difference in direct matches in the tournament
- Goals scored in direct matches in the tournament
- General goal difference in the tournament
- General goals scored in the tournament
- Discipline
In case of equal points between 2 teams, the first ordering criterion will be considered. In case of further equality, the second ordering criterion will be used. And so on. If equality between the two teams still exists with all ordering criteria, the ranking will be determined randomly.
Caution
This configuration only applies to League types and the group stage of the Group Stage + Knockout Tournament.
# Suspension for Accumulation of Yellow Cards
It is possible to define how many yellow cards a player can receive in distinct matches to be suspended for the matchday following the last yellow card received.
It is possible to choose between 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 total yellow cards before receiving the suspension.
If 0 is set, no suspension will be applied regardless of the number
